heymisterk
So, I pulled the trigger... PRS SE bought used off of Craigslist. An absolute bargain. Previous owner replaced the stock PU with a SD JB: Very nice flame: I had heard the tuners on these things were sh*t, but I think they're fine: I have recently started lessons again, and so this is the guitar I use. Came with a really good gigbag as well. I had heard that the PRS SE had very good build quality, and indeed it does; better than Certain Other Gibson Imports I had played. Good rock guitar! I need to have the action lowered a bit, but I have all my guitars set up first thing anyway.

heymisterk
Very nice! Please tell me that the previous owner gave you the original pickup! Yes, he did. He told me he used it as a paperweight! I took it and got it set up. It needed a truss rod adjustment, lubrication of the fretboard, and a fret dress. My guitar guy told me it looked like it had not been played very much; probably very true. Now it's like new...and it will be played!
WahKeen
Nice guitar! Let it stay nice lest you play santana on it.

It's a nice guitar but future value is unlikely - it's an SE (Student Edition) made in Korea in the same factory that makes Squire for Fender and used to make some of the Epi models before they moved that to China. bluzhammer
Nice, I bought a Tremonti SE, and threw in a pearly gates and 59 SD's, and it really brought the guitar to life. Its pretty light and serves well as a hot rod guitar that won't hurt your feelings if you ding it.
