Those old cast iron Harmony and Kay archtops just seemed to beg to be modded into electrics and have strings added. I did a 7-string conversion on one (doubled G in octaves) and even played rock on it. Another interesting one, I don't have Youtube references for it, but it's Bob Dylan's "Endless Highway" or whatever you call it, "tomorrow is a long time."
