LPguitarman
Nice Tim...How many LP's are you up to now? Dumb question #1: How do you decide which one to play? #2: What exactly does changing Caps. & Pots. do to the sound? #3: What Caps. & Pots. would I have in my 2007 Classic Antique? Tim Plains
Cheers guys. chase, anytime. Dave, why yes, yes, I do. Or should I say Nice in Stereo! Thanks! How many Customs are you up to - 16? Nice Tim...How many LP's are you up to now? Good question! How should I know? This is LP # 7. 15 guitar total. Dumb question #1: How do you decide which one to play?#2: What exactly does changing Caps. & Pots. do to the sound? #3: What Caps. & Pots. would I have in my 2007 Classic Antique? I try rotating all of them but it's usually whatever I feel like playing. Read posts #15 & 16. In addition to that, you have, or should have, orange ceramic disc caps and 500k tone pots in your CA. I replaced only the caps in my R8 and R9 a few years ago from the fake Bees to reproduction Bees. Noticeable improvement in the R8, sweeter tone, zero difference in the R9. It varies from guitar to guitar but you should notice a big difference by going with 500k volume pots.
