Deftone
is holy crap a good thing or a bad thing?? I think it's cool. Very different. Not my style, but very cool! How's the Bigsby? Did you consider locking tuners? How do you like the push/pull knobs?
npelton13
The bigsby is awesome. Very stiff arm which I like. With the psuh/pull pots it can acheive that fat strat sound. Great when playing hendrix. I never considered locking tuners. That may help out a little but they dont seem to go out of tune very fast. I think it's cool. Very different. Geetar_Axl
Has anyone else got a Tobacco Burst faded like OKlunchbox's?
Gibson CS
Deftone... I noticed in your pictures how thin the body of the cherryburst looks. Was that why they called those models lite? Was it almost a Strat type feel to hold?

Mark
Bigrich- That Manhatten is beautiful. I wanted to buy one when they came out but no one stocked them. Did you buy online? I also noticed your stands, are they Nitro friendly? They look like they my have the black foam for padding and they might ruin your finish. Plank_Spanker
Hey Plank' date=' that LE's a sweety, is that a green color?[/quote'] Thanks, man! It's "Pacific Reef". It looks different under different lighting. In sunlight, it looks turquoise with subtle green shot through it. In stage lighting, it looks green. bigrich
Plank_Spanker The Pacific Reef is a VERY close second to The Midnight Manhattan in my mind. I'm definately, looking for a nice one to buy myself. P.S. Being from Pine Barrens... did you ever run across the Russian Pauly Walnuts shot in the head? T50
Oh! Is that A Classic Antique in Honey Burst? Nice. I was gonna go for that one. I think it's called amber flame top as you guessed earlier. Not sure about the exact official name for this finish... Honey burst has darker edge I believe. I had always wanted this particular finish on my LP and hunted down a mint 10 year old one with no dings or dents. Now, I want another LP with dark tobacco burst! If you want the 60s slim neck, go for a Classic! I just don't see why anyone would want to spend a few hundred bucks more for a Standard w/ 60 neck. Good luck with finding a new LP!!! It's everything I was looking for in a Les Paul. The "Shot Russian"? LOL! I've never run across him, but I'm in the thick of it where I live. He may yet turn up.........
