Dub-T-123
Wow. I can only imagine how mind blowing it would have been to be there. Especially if you had some good drugs. That was ******* awesome thanks for posting.
charlie brown
LOL....yeah, I saw this line-up, of Deep Purple, several times "Live," and they were always Great!! And, extremely LOUD, too! I think, to date, they were still the loudest concerts I've ever attended. Of course, back then, you could get right up to the stage (which is where I was, every time), so..that probably had something to do with my impressions, on volume! Dub-T-123
I always go right up to the stage when I see bands. That's the best place to be! Were they this great live all the time?

RaysEpiphone
That 2nd Fender Blackmore played was not at all in tune! Very cool video and one of my favorite Purple song's!
pfox14
I can't remember if it was Deep Purple or The Who that was listed in the Guiness Book of World Records as the world's loudest band, but I think it was Deep Purple. Very Spinal Tap-esque IMHO

I think it's one of the categories that was dropped. I remember they used to have categories for human consumption and after a man ground up and ate a ten speed bicycle, they noted that it would be the last time the category would be included in the book.
