The G
I sold my Gibson SJ Woody Guthrie today. Real sorry to see it go,but economic times dictated that I do so. :( I hymned and hawed about which one of my two remaining acoustics to keep ,and elected to keep my Martin OM-21.Being a Gibson forum I'm sure most will not agree with my choice. I will remain active on this forum even though it hurts to be "Gibsonless". I maintain it is certainly one of the better guitar communities around . MR GIBS
Sorry to read that, man... I hope that soon you will be able to have another Gibson in the house. Good luck!!!!!!
The G
what made you let the Woody go and Keep the OM 21 ? JC A few things. My Martin has a full lifetime warranty .( Big consideration) Been leaning towards a preference to the 1 3/4 nut width. Ren Ferguson left . Size comfort of the OM model. Just kidding on the third reason....

chasAK
Sorry, thing must be tough. Two things we try not to sell atour home: musical instruments and fire-arms. At least you still have one goodone to play. chasAK

Mojorule
Well it's sad to lose a fully paid up member of the Woody fanclub, but Emeritus status is highly respected. In any case, some fine music has been cut on 21 series Martins. I thought the following might be appropriate, but copyright means that the original is not up on the tube at present, so we'll have to settle for a banjo instead of the Martin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPzRv9mrcvg&feature=related
