MickFromMunhall
I knew you were joking. I was going to reply that it was a failed attempt at doing my truss rod. Actually I have never adjusted one, I think I would botch it ;) One of these days though I would like to shoot a short video with the GoPro of how my V3M sounds and the few pedals I have, but right now I am too rusty. Thanks, I really like the SG and the Carvin amp. I think that the key to truss rod adjustments is Patience. A quarter turn - then WAIT for the changes to take place.Mind you, I'm not an expert, but treat your baby gently, and you can't go wrong. \
CoreyT
Carvin ran a sale last week, and I got the slant top 4x12 cabinet with the same speakers that are in the 2x12 cabinet. http://www.carvinguitars.com/products/412VT This cabinet runs at 16 ohms instead of 8 ohms like the smaller cabinet. The V3M head has a switch on the rear to choose from 4, 8, or 16 ohms. So far I have not taken the amp off of the 7 watt setting, and it can be quite loud on just 7. Going to fire it up later to see how the 4x12s sound. Quite a difference in cabinet size, and the V3M head looks puny on the bigger cabinet compared to when it sat on the smaller one. The metal grill is not black like the smaller cabinet, I think the black looks better.

cabba2203
Dual rectifier 4x12 built into a flight case. Man I have been looking for a set of those to go with my Mark IV. Hard to find those old "road ready" boogie cabs in my area. Very nice!
