Kylef
Finally got an Inspired By JL Revolution after seeking a mint one for a few months as I couldnt find one new. Although I thought I was satisfied with my Gibson ES-355 and Epi Sheraton as my 'Semi Arsenal', the Casino is just so different to them both. The P90's, coupled with the hollow body, is a sound that cant be replicated. Im more a Harrison fan than a Lennon fan, but he played these guitars aswell, just with Lennon's name on. I went for the inspired by because of the upgrade in electronics - and the lack of finish, and vintage specs played a part too. I had to upgrade my Sheratons electronics, and my Riviera that I had before it, so having this already been upgraded is a blessing. Chuffed to bits with it. Cleaned her up, new strings, and she came to life. For photo purposes, of course I had to sit her next to her friend

bonzoboy
Congrats on buying one of the best guitars ever made.I have one of the first 50 John Lennon 1965 Casinos,a John Lennon EJ-160-E and a Natural Casino ( to somewhat replicate the Revolution).I get goosebumps every time I play one of my John Lennon guitars through one of my Vox or Fender amps, especially my Vox AD-120-VTH which has real-life models of the Vox AC 15 and 30 as well as the Fender Twin and Deluxe Reverb that The Beatles used.My 1965 Casino is my easiest playing and most comfortable guitar and is tied with my '65 Strat for being the favourite of my 30 guitars.Enjoy your new Casino,it will bring you years of great playing for sure. clarkuss
If you're a George fan... BIGSBY! BIGSBY! BiGSBY! :) Congrats on the new guitar. Ive only heard good things about these IBJL guitars and the only thing stopping me going out and getting one is that I already have my eyes on a pair of 1965 Casinos in the next couple of years. Enjoy!!

You might want to check out ebay and you can get a 'lennon' smiley logo truss rod cover, I got them on mine, sets it off nice. Also agree with you, the quality of the components on the lennon casino are great, mine even sounds great unplugged. All the best,
Bob Isaac
Excellent. It is always great when you eventually get what you have been looking for. The Inspired series are really great for many reasons. Some say they are a sales gimmick, but who cares. I spent ages looking for the Orbison 335 and kept missing one. Then 2 came along. The Epi 12-string is still in some shops here so is available new. I had never played a 12-string before so it was a bit awkward at first, but then when I got used to it I am amazed how lovely it is to play. Beautiful tone. I am sure you are enjoying yours as much as I enjoy mine. Bob
