Hall
I like maple jumbos for sure. It was Woody"s preference also! Thanks for that clip Juan Carlos. He was into the wood pile deep there. Steve
j45nick
Good explanation. I like these types of videos, which Bob does from time to time. I always feel like I'm going to school.

Tman
Informative. Some people have straight hair and some curly - I like the explanation. The developing bald spot on my head would probably lead to a bit of a quilted appearance I reckon? I like to find out about Bird'seye, probably my favorite Maple. Thanks for posting this. onewilyfool
Some people have straight hair, some people have curly hair, and some people have NO hair....lol...Bob forgot to mention that. Good video, very informative. I have great respect for Bob, he is really making an effort to save wood sources in the world, very conscientious dude! Motherofpearl
I've fallen out of love for maple I'm unsure why. When I got my J100xtra in hog I sold off all my sjs.
telemaster03
Great video, thanks. I love the look of maple in all it's forms but every time I've played a maple b/s acoustic I'm disappointed...they always seem dull and lifeless. But I'll keep looking... I had an old Sho-Bud steel guitar once that was made of Birdseye Maple, beautiful to look at and tone for days, weeks and years.
Guth
After watching that video, I'm not quite sure how Gibson ended up achieving this. They simply call it birdseye, but it seems to exhibit a little bit of everything mentioned in the video.
