It works, really. I tried to listen to the first one they did, and by about song 3, I said to myself - “WTF is this garbage ?” Plants voice is long gone.

'solid body'. what does that mean to you?
Sgt. Pepper replied to merciful-evans's topic in The Gibson Lounge
It means not hollow. Your welcome Rudy. -
When your a lawyer or doctor, nothing shows how great of a pretend guitarist you are until you buy that 10k Murphy Aged LP or a limited edition 1 of 25 made Jimi Hendrix left hand Flying V. Rics are still relatively affordable.

To pickguard or not to pickguard, that is the question

If you can fit a beaver on it, then yes. -

An etched one of a beaver gnawing on a tree stump. Gibson has enough bird p/g’s it’s time for a rodent. -
I guess David kept the beat up Tele and didn't sell it. Not impressed with the song. I guess it makes musicians feel good to think they are making a difference, but a song never changed or stopped any war that I'm aware of.

I owned a Ric 4003 Bass, and only played one or two 6 string Rics, because they are not easy to find in stores to play. Enjoy.

He’s playing in Richmond, Asheville and Charleston, those are the closest to where I’m at. I saw him with Jason Isbell in Richmond.

Nice find.

Here is from Sunday night I was a scanner. I was going to go to the show, but my wife was not feeling good as she partied to hard the night before seeing our neighbors band. I stuck around for two songs after I got off. I saw Bennie and Rocket Man. He was introduced as Almost Elton John.

If it is then this Swiss Army Guitar just keeps getting closer to the status that starts with a Capitol "I". Its already got ambidextrous carrying handles. https://www.gibson.com/en-US/Master-Artisan-Collection

What a train wreck. I want a cod piece on my guitar too.

Give ‘em all an award and send them on their way.

I watch now for best slap. People with money are crazy too.

He was briefly in Fleet Foxes before going out on his own. His real name is Josh Tillman. He’s on the album Helplessness Blues. He plays drums on the album.

I saw him in Richmond, VA a few years back on the Gods Favorite Customer Tour. He was really good.

Nope. If Eno and Eddie were going to be in the band, maybe. I like Stranded, Country Life and by Siren it was starting to lose its luster. The first two have a few songs I like. I love the crazy Virginia Plain. The lounge act Roxy is what I would put on to go to sleep to.

If you have a ticket it should be for a specific seat.

I’m glad I’m not twisting wires anymore.

Even though I am retired, I need to get out of the house to do something. I took a job at The Carolina Opry as an usher / ticket scanner, and then maybe get trained on all the stations in the Theater. I started two days ago on Wednesday. This is the same place I saw Lyle Lovett. On my first day I was asked if I wanted to do security for Blues Traveler. I said "Yep". Its 2 and a half hours a day unless you work in other parts of the theater. I start at 5pm and I am off promptly at 730pm, a half hour after the show starts. I get to see any of the shows for free. Mrs. Gladys Knight is coming in the summer and Blues Traveler is in August.

Your J-45 is stuck in a quantum guitar black hole time continuum loop of continually repeating J-45 models. It’s like Pi, it never repeats itself. New ones are being discussed right now in the secret sanctum in the hallowed halls of Bozeman.
