    Christmas….

From the little that was made public, Land Rovers every year for himself, his family, and the selves and families of an unknown number of executives. College funds for his own kids and the kids of an unknown number of executives. Travel. House(s). The usual Business as Personal Bank stuff that these people do. And then had the audacity to DEMAND that the bondholders take over the company and THEN declare bankruptcy, another loser that would and will do anything to keep his own name clean while he was the only one to filthy that company up. And the multi-million "consultancy" retainer he and an unknown number of executives had to receive for several years in order for him to declare the bankruptcy. In short, what a doosch. rct

    Christmas….

Because the previous Hero In Charge squandered all of their dollars. rct
  3. I have a side split in my 000-16. The mahogany was repaired and I didn't even ask for it because my darling dear Prudence had caused that split and I loved it. But Ernie fixed it. I know where it is and I can't find it, so there is hope that glue and cleat will work very well. rct

    Christmas….

Not quite dope enough. Sequencing is a way different work flow than I am used to, I don't want to play a computer. Santa will take this back and I'll muddle on with my 20 year old drum machine until it dies and then I'll figure out something. It was two good tries though. Still, no Gibsons for me. rct

    Christmas….

Well, the TR-8S is certainly dope, but Santa heard me bizitching that it doesn't do what I need it to do as well as others do. So he nicely took my return and brought me: It is even doperer than the TR-8S and does what I need it to do. Very nice! I shoulda went with it first. Still, no Gibsons. rct
  7. I am reading Brothers and Sisters, a book that just came out. A good look at that record, probably the best record ever made, and how them guys were at that time. It is all based on Kirk West interviews. Very interesting re-telling of the re-telling of history. rct
  8. When we were young and fine and did this song at weddings one or our knut job singers always sang "will you sell weed to me will you still breed with me". Extremely good times. rct
  9. It was our one month wedding anniversary. My young bride heard it on the clock radio as we were getting up at dawn and said "yeah well I still gotta go to work...". Good times. rct
  10. Take it to Guitar Center. They'll have the right one. It will be a trick, it is usually under the cash register counter, sometimes under the pedals, sometimes buried in the repair bench. It's a trick because depending on which type it is the thread are different, and different in each over different year periods. But they do have them, they have bunches that never went out with the guitars or came in with a trade and got put in that drawer, and then spare sets of black and white plastics that include the bar. If you know the year of it you can take a whack at the internet, order one, and hope it fits the first time. rct

    Christmas….

After quite a few back and forth to try the MPC and the Roland I called an audible and Santa heard me. This thing is dope. rct
  12. It is really hard to see past the sales bluster for sure. You might try a thoughtfully worded email to Gibson customer service or whatever they are calling it these days might get you some clarity, and it might not. rct
  13. Always put forth by people that just happen to own one or three or 5 of that series. I've been using Fenders since 1971, there are good and bad in every era, every series, and every country of origin. Same goes for Gibson. Trying to determine which era is better than all the rest will only lead you to people who happen to own one of the ones from the era they say is the best. You can only go and play them and determine their suitability for your uses yourself. rct
  14. I'm not sure what you mean by "non-specialist". Everyone here is a "non-specialist" and has to do the very same research that you do. You are right, there aren't very many 330s to be found, fewer American Casinos. But that number is the same for everyone, not just you. There probably just aren't that many 330 fans here, they aren't really yakked up much. Good luck with your search, GibsonWorld can be a tough hike with no map. rct
  15. Good deal. I did similar this year, May - June. It's a tough time, I feel your pain. This too will pass, know that you are doing the right thing. rct
  16. As long as the surviving members give permission to the right person(s) all is good in Skynyrd land. The same permissions given to others = plagiarism. LOL!!!!! rct

  18. For the adult beverage list we usually give good champagne. This year we are doing something different. After taking a couple bottles to Detroit, Toledo, and then Yellowstone and home, followed by another week down there in Disney World, we thought that we had pretty much had a pretty good American trip with some good American Bourbon. So this year, the serious on our list are gettin rct
