Very cool for those who have multiple guitars Doing a bit of googling I see that capos are pretty much all designed for 9 to 16 inch radius's (radii? ) Seems strange to me when Martin guitars are 16 radius .... surely Martin's would be a benchmark to use if you were a capo manufacturer ? Not saying they should be designed for Martin's but that major name right on the outside of the specs is weird to me , am I missing something ? The fancy new one above aside, which is best for a 16 radius ?

Its hard to tell from a forum conversation But you might do well to check the tuning posts and pegs for loose screws Perhaps truss rod cover screws And the end pin Jack socket if there's a pickup in the guitar Lots have had a vibration from a loose nut on the inside of the fitting You'll need skinny arms Initially I thought you didn't like the sound of the guitar but your sitar like comment made me think it may be something buzzing somewhere and resonating

12's should be fine on a j45 It's what I've always used

I’ve never had a battery bag fall off ever 🤔 They’ve all been installed on the neck block. Not by me , just been there when I acquired the guitar I kinda agree with buc about stuff inside the guitar being a pain but not because it falls off And I won’t consider a guitar with anything adorning the outside. Don’t like barn doors on the sides of them not even little nobs a la Taylors Just my thing

Great review there A wee question about storing behind the nut .... I’m assuming the guitar doesn’t go out of tune depending on you only squeezing it hard enough to grip ? Surely if squeezed too hard there the strings will pull out of tune ?

If they fit your neck radius then I would say no But if it doesn’t fit then it may be worth a look

A kyser is as good as anything I’ve a few nice ones just because i like them The more expensive the better isn’t always the truth
