Update..one year later.........still waiting....might just cancel at this point.
-
Sooo......still waiting for it....ordered in April.......I think Gibson hates sending guitars to Canada lol....are they backlogged that badly?
-
A 67 to 69 SG JR with full batwing and Trem system....and beefy neck.
-
Nice find!
-
I don't do resolutions as such....The only goal I have is maybe a Custom shop SG ......but my wallet however, always make resolutions so it going to be a battle.
-
Just curious if anyone has one, tried one...what are your thoughts on it...build quality vs lets say the R VOS series of les pauls ( I have an R4 so looking for comparison) ....do they have the 50's wiring or more modern?
-
Looks like one of those things you find at a civil war battle site!
-
................are they hand wired or PC Boards...cant seem to find any info https://www.gibson.com/Guitar/USA8LG109/SG-Standard
-
Love P-90's........noise has never been an issue.....and if it is then what are you doing standing around........play it, no more noise!
-
On that note...if I have an SG that has pcb board and I want to switch over to old fashioned method ( I go purchase 4 separate pots )..can I use the existing pickups by clipping off the current connector and use the existing wires?
-
Well, Mike Oldfield never had any problems.....
-
The Les Paul Classic should get you there for all of them, more about settings and pedals ........Robert Smith in his early days ( and I am sure later on) used Fender Jaguars and possibly jazzmasters....with smith it's clean(ish) tone and flanger, flanger and a side order of flanger!...
-
So I checked my budget..........can someone point me to the guitar picks section?
-
it's $8500 Canadian ..at that price I can get an original 1967 SG.....so ya......don't get me wrong Gibson custom shop stuff is great...but at that price I would rather have an original.
-
Tempting.... yes...............I say ...DO IT!!!!!!
-
I bought the 2018 JR and it is a phenomenal guitar, a keeper....as I posted in the other thread going to have to get this one!!!
-

Why doesn't someone make or invent one that joins the two pieces together to close the gap and still fit right into the pegs.
