Actually, fresh air and sunshine kills lots of viruses, but unfortunately not this one.
Black Dog, I'm assuming the jury is still out, but does it look like summer will help us any?
I dislike them without having ever tried them. You have to be prejudiced at my age, or you'll morph into a vegan.
(I actually like a lot of vegan food, tbh. Then again, I pretty much like all food.)
I say he's forgiven. "This is COVID-19 not COVID-1, people" is hilarious in its stupidity, no matter who says it.
It's not XVID either, btw. Just doing my part/PSA there.
Exactly. Even the plague doctors wore masks.
It'll be "interesting" to see whether the antibodies are any good. If not - uh-oh. Of course, I've no idea how specific the tests are yet. Not particularly enamored with fast-tracked vaccines, either.
I agree.
Still, they shouldn't have downplayed the barrier importance. I see people with scarves covering their mouth and nose only now, after all these deaths.
Unless I'm missing something, there's no "home" button to take you to the first forum page if you're in a sub-forum on a cellphone. You have to click back and re-load several pages.
I'd like one.
People have to read up a little on contagion. First it was "surgical masks won't protect you" (which goes against everything we know about droplet transmission - I called BS), and now it's "cover your face" - and then we have people wearing bandanas one way to going to work, and wearing them the other way going home (inhaling all the lovely microbes they collected that morning).
It's imperative at this stage that people use a little common sense. If only it weren't so uncommon.
Oh, man. Sorry to hear.
This is one evil ***** of a disease. I self-isolate in my time off. I don't know if "voluntarily" is the word, 'cos I hate it by now, but it seems like the thing to do until further notice.
