This is how I finally ended up with the "rose" guitar stand: It is fixed with two wooden studs - one at each end -, and a screw around the middle. So that's all! Finish will be applied soon, then the silk pads will be mounted - nothing interesting from now on. Thank You for following the evolution of the stand. ;) Cheers... I really like that you thought it worth your while chamfering the brace where it shows through the cut-outs rather than just taking the easy option and leaving it the same profile 'because no-one will really notice'.
