AnneS
Each time you learn a little bit, it kind of edges another door open a little bit. It's a sweet journey. Well said-exactly!
DenverSteve
Streets of Loredo. I'm amazed at the complex songs some of you list as your "first song".

fortyearspickn
you didn't expect everyone to tell the truth on an Internet forum did you? :D Malaguena on the way home from Sears in the backseat of the Chevy Nomad with my Stella. Stairway to Heaven as we were pulling into the driveway. Seriously... The Ballad of Jesse James ... After driving my poor mother crazy for 2 weeks prior playing absolutely nothing but the 13 notes from "Bonanza'. Using just the 5th string. DenverSteve
I received my red Mahogany Kay when I was 8 but didn't know you had to tune it until 10. So the first two years were noodling around with plucking melodies. Then Streets of Loredo - then the second was ... Malaguena. .. of course.
