I had trouble playing it on my lap due to the body shape not being conducive to playing it that way. I explained my dilemma to him and we went back to GC to replace it with a Epiphone ES-339 Pro. Some consider them merely as a smaller version of an ES 335, which I also own, but my opinion is that they are a good, versatile guitar in their own right.
