Nice one Larry, I just watched with the Mrs 'Walk The Line' the JC movie last weekend. We love that film, was humming along to the tune. Im gonna learn it properly this week.

Actually the Bird is a good guitar for these JC's tunes as that low end thump really gives that chicka boom a nice groove.

But you just can't go wrong with Birds and Blondes .... here's my contribution.

Actually, I do love the song also, from one of my all time favourite albums by a band called Zero 7 (doubt anyone would know them on the board) They have a number of singers (including Adelaides own Sia who became a superstar much later)

Here is the acoustic version of one the best tracks from the album with Tina Dico. Blonde and a Bird.

Blondes and birds. What a combination. There should be some kind of law that prevents such good-looking women from playing such good-looking guitars. The most sinfull kind of "guitar porn."

EA, you're absolutely right. The Hummingbird has that Gibson "thump" that fits so easily with folk/country tunes. Got to confess that it's likely my favorite of all the guitars I own and have owned. It can be sweet as one of those tiny birds or it can be RODAN----here's Rodan for the folks not yet out of diapers.....lol....
