bigtim
This is about the oldest one I have ever saw for sale. I never knew they had electric guitars in the late 1800's https://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/Gibson/Vintage-1874-Sg-Standard-Solid-Body-Electric-Guitar.gc
AngelDeVille
There is a picture in the Getty museum of Abraham Lincoln playing one, through a Marshall stack, so I suspect it’s earlier than that.

Notes_Norton
It even has the old 1800's Gibson Logo on it. But I think you need one of those steam-powered amps to get the best sounds out of it. Notes

The old steamers just run out of steam when you hit a few power chords.
