Hollow body P90 bliss?

Saw him open for The Stones in SF in '81. Lonesome George was great, The Stones were not. He came last year to where my daughter went to college, which is about 15 mins from my house. I got off late and went up the the ticket counter to buy a ticket and he had been on for an hour, so I said no to full price to see maybe a half an hour of a show.

The sax player doesn't have enough sax's in is arms.

My cousin lived in Clifton and use to go there all the time. I was born in that city.

Certainly look like P90s.   But there's no squeal; is he on the mid position?  He might have  a noise gate on.  Or the guitar might be stuffed with something to stop feedback.

He always delivered - simple, cleanly executed, well timed, no slop, and in tune.

Since I changed power chords from amp to guitar I don't get feedback anymore.

Wow, would not have expected that
