lancenutwood
Why the price jump from $350 to $699? Doesn't that defeat the whole point of having a MM line?
Thundergod
A$$holes noticed the guitar sold a lot and was taking down sales for epis of the same price range and gibsons costing as much as 2 times that. I think that's why they stopped making the 2 pickup version. Glad I got mine for cheap, even with the mods I performed it didnt cost me more than 390 bucks, which for a 2 pickup USA made guitar is really cheap in my opinion. lancenutwood
Well they've lost my sale cause I refuse to pay almost twice as much for the same product.
Thundergod
Where did you see it at 699 anyway? They are at 495 in guitar center and MF... maybe you can find one like new in ebay for 300 or less.
lancenutwood
well that's MSRP. you're right but still going from $350 to $495 minus a pickup is ridiculous. I've bid on a few on ebay but they usually get bid up past 300. gay

lancenutwood
LOL $695 for a new MM. I could just get a used LP studio mint cond. for that much. or the Joan Jett double cutaway thinline neck for that much.

I'm still on the hunt and lookout for a LP but I want a MM in the mean time to suffice until I can afford a LP, But at these prices forget it! pohatu771
They're still showing up at $490 on Musician's Friend, just like they have been for several months. I got mine for $330 from the HOG.
thejay
Overpriced... they were great buys at 299 when first released (two pup version). I should have got one then... didn't... all well. at $495 I think that's too much IMHO
