highxj Posted April 1, 2008 Share Posted April 1, 2008 Hey all, I am really tempted by the MF special on LP Standard 60's neck for $1799.99, but the only two colors offered are the gingerburst or cranberry. I am on the fence, does anybody have any pictures of these two finishes other than what is on the website? Appreciate it, seems like a *really* good deal to me....... Silverbursted Posted April 2, 2008 Share Posted April 2, 2008 I spent a little time a couple of weeks ago looking around the internet for larger/better pictures of these two lesters without any luck. The MF pics looked pretty good to me, but for $1800 for a Standard it's hard to go wrong. If the Standard, 60s neck is what you want you should go with it. Check out the return policy at MF. That price is in the little flyer they send out with orders. It's not on the web or the regular catalog, phone order only. I think I'd like the Cranberry, but I'd be afraid it would look more like trans red, than the nice deep brownish color in the photos. Also, what is the case like that came with it. This is my first Gibson Les Paul after 25 years of playing. I didn't get the 1799 price but I did have a 20% off coupon for the 1999 price. You do the math. Couldn't pass it up.
