Silverbursted
Great job on the build. Piloting skills still needs work (landing phase). Thanks for sharing.
NeoConMan
Look, I know you're a professional and all - but that landing was better than I expected for an RC! Besides, what's a little POI on final? I do it all the time and haven't bent an airplane yet.... I was amazed at the scaled realism, that's an odd airfoil/lifting body design anyway - but scaled down? Wow. Well, we all know the Germans make good stuff.
duane v
So I gotta ask... But who's the wing-nut smoking a cigarette next to a jet fuel source[blink]
NeoConMan
Duane, it's those crazy Germans man... I'm tellin' ya, there's no accounting for those guys! Yeah, that crossed my mind too. Around real airplanes, I've had to get on to a few smokers who would walk right up to a plane being fueled. Jet fuel ain't gonna ignite, but av-gas is every bit as volatile as gasoline. I don't know about the stuff in those RC planes, if it has the same flash-inhibitors as jet fuel.

NeoConMan
So it has the central engine, well-concealed. I noticed the three-wheel main gear - a great bit of realism. Well-done. A friend of mine invited me to the big RC meet here in Phoenix last month but I didn't make it. One of these days I gotta go. www.speedworldrcf.com

grampa
Way beyond cool. Back in the mid 60's, a Lt. Colonel I knew had to get to Germany from the Sacramento area and was, because of his security clearance, was able to hitch a ride on one of those blackbirds out of Beale AFB as the navigator. It took just a few hours.
