A little help before I bid.....????

Looks like a good deal! I know many peeps would never purchase an instrument online, but, if you know what you're looking for and read all of the fine print, it can be safe. I've yet to have any problems with any music merchandise I've bought online (guitars, effects, amps, etc.). The trick is to do your research and ask questions. Contact the seller before you bid. Ask about shipping, packing, return policies, etc. Go to a few shops and try as many of that same guitar as possible, so that you know more or less what to expect. Feedback ratings are very important on Ebay. If I have any doubts, I won't bid. Simple as that.

I got my Casino two years ago, and it was better than any of the ones I tried out at the store, if you can believe that. In the last few months, I've purchased a "used" Sheraton and a Gretsch G5129. Both came in perfect condition.

Good Luck! If you win, please post pix.

That is like what: 600 American? Cost 499 .....American in 2006.

Is it worth it? As long as you don't have to work on it, but if you want it to sound it's best, get ready to change the electonics...so add another 200 american...and you will have a 1500 guitar....

The older ones are much better...that is one nice Koren there...beautiful.....

Looks good to me. Here's a pic of my '94 MIK with which you may compare it.

That is one of the best finishes I have seen on a Casino.

Like the others said, I don't see anything that makes it look fake. Looks like a nice Casino - good luck.

Yes, unfortunately we have to pay a lot more over here for our guitars. Casinos usually retail at £450 new so that is $900!!

I am still kicking myself for not getting some guitars when I was over in Missouri last year!!!!!!

I think I've said it before but I'll say it again, that is one of the nicest looking Casinos I've ever seen.

re: the auction- looks OK to me as well. You always take some risks buying sight unseen but as it's been mentioned, I don't see any of the usual red flags either.

I agree. I have seen this before on here, but it always a pleasure to see it again. Love the finish and wood on that Casino.

Thanks for all of your help guys. I have put a bid on so lets see if I win. If I do, you can be sure that I will post some pics on here.
