In fact I was just trying to find some of this information earlier this morning. A few things you may want to add to an updated chart in the future: As per Epiphone's press release, I believe that the JL Inspired model also has the Switchcraft 3-way switch and Gibson USA electronics. I wish it had the 2-screw truss rod cover, but beggars can't be choosers. I'm still trying to decide if the Inspired version is the one form me anyway. Brian PS: From the looks of things so far, the JL Inspired makes a lot of sense. For the extra $500 difference with the Elitist, you could buy another decent guitar or tube amp, new. I'd mod it into my own axe with my own upgrades ... it seems a casino standard is in my future. natural finish, (lennon-esque) graph tech saddles/nut, mini bucker in the bridge ..... I was thinking screwin' one to a dogear p90 baseplate with a tooled plastic dogear cover over it. maybe? oh well i'll figure something out. They keep coming up with all these fun "toys" for us, and (from a financial point), I don't need that/those temptation(s), you know?! LOL! Yamagamma Actually, I believe it's more along these lines: Standard - China JL Inspired - China Elitist - Japan Lennon - USA And if I'm not mistaken all guitars are set up and inspected in the USA. [/quote'] You are quite right except for the Lennon 65/Revolution models which are also made in Japan by Terada, and then shipped to the U.S. to have the h/ware fitted and final set up/inspection. What difference is there between the 17 degree and 14 degree angles? thanks The Revolution, and '65 have 17 degree headstock angles.The Elitist, Korean and Chinese Casinos have 14. I THINK (but do not know for sure) that the IB Casinos also have 14. Someone will have to confirm that. A greater head stock angle puts more downward string pressure against the nut, so the strings terminate better. Less vibration bleeds off from the nut to the tuners, which impacts the tone. That would be a useful spec to add to your excellent chart, brianh, once we know the IB's angle, if you haven't updated it already.
