Rocky4
Pricey, but I'd like to try one. They're hollow, even the neck and head stock. http://blackbirdguitar.com/

Gibson Artist
Pricey, but I'd like to try one. They're hollow, even the neck and head stock. http://blackbirdguitar.com/ Neat idea and if you dont like the tone you can put some wheels on and challenge Lance Armstrong. DAS44
I got to play a carbon fiber "cargo guitar" in New york last year, it was a great little guitar! Definitely worth checking out, I really want to get one for a travel guitar, rugged little things.

milod
Sounds to me - in more ways than one - as if it's an all-fiber composite version of the Ovation instead of just a fiber back and side variation. I know that sounds a little cynical, and if somebody wants it for whatever, it's fine by me - just as I got two of the early A-E guitars back in the 1970s that happened to be Ovations. I woulda gotten all-wood A-E if some had been manufactured and sold close enough to where I lived to try, and if I liked the necks and general operational characteristics better for the buck than the Ovation. For what it's worth... both over 35 years old, both eminently playable. m
TommyK
Probably wouldn't need a case for it either. Maybe they could put a tool box on it for picks, wire cutters, nail clippers, tuner and such.
brundaddy
The neck & head are prob strong as hell but carbon fiber is super brittle. I doubt that body is all that much stronger than braced wood as some of y'all think. Carbon fiber bicycle frames explode when they get wrecked.
