Hmmm? I still think keyboards are the best vehicle for digital sound effects.

Can you bend strings? Will you hear the digital algorithms collide as you slowly bend a note into unison with another? More simply put, can it play the blues better than a regular guitar? [thumbdn]

Looks like another example of a solution where there is no problem.

That's exactly why we have engineers in the first place!

OK, even this engineer think that monstrosity is way over the top.

I'm disappointed Fred.

I thought this was going to about how much you LOVE your GREEN RHINO OVERDRIVE!!!!!!

I don't have one yet. Wanna fix that? [biggrin]

And for the record, I honestly thought dem00n would post on here and just say "its actually kinda cool, I really like it" then everyone would flame him, he would comment on everyone's mothers and his nether regions and be banned for 2 months after the world ends. There goes wishful thinking [lol]

In all honesty, it showed up on my stumbleupon between the cool photography and porn and I saw it and went

I literally thought dem00n would be the only one to like it, guess I was wrong...

My link

:-"

I F***ing hate "progressive" technology.

This is actually worse than the new firebird monstrosity.

If it aint broke dont fix it! Wood, passive electronics, bone/graphite nut, string tuners and strings. NO BATTERIES or COMPUTER SOFTWARE.

OMFG. Why dont they just make a hands free guitar that plays itself by reading your mind, and be done with it.

Ugh, Im thoroughly upset. At least i cant blame gibson for this.

I don't think anybody is buying this thing to play the blues but then again... I hope no one buys it at all!

I like digital effects on guitar if they sound good. There's a lot of lame crap out there though.

I used blues as a reference 'cause if you can't play blues on it, you can't play anything on it. If you can't bend the notes, it might as well be a keyboard.

{edit} Quick Clarification, I mean Guitar Blues. Of course you can find a way to play blues on any instrument.
