pippy
Great playing. Thanks for posting that, I enjoyed it very much. I loved the Melody Maker, too, BTW. That clip really does show it isn't necessary to spend a fortune on a guitar to get a good sound. P.

bluesguitar65
thanks!! Yea, the melody maker is great. I can get 60s British blues tone out of it. Nah.....I never got passed the first round. The competition was hard the night I played, but there will be another next year :)

davidl
Nice playing. Right up my alley. I liked both guitars individually. Would like to hear more on a clean channel. Great stuff.
bluesguitar65
Nice playing. Right up my alley. I liked both guitars individually. Would like to hear more on a clean channel. Great stuff. Thanks! I can do that, but I would have to use my cleaner sounding amp, Fender Deluxe Reverb. The Marshall Class 5 is pretty dirty.
bluesguitar65
OOOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPSSSSS I went back to listen to you again and I see you do like the MM Best And I enjoyed your playing even better the 2nd time thru !! Thanks! Im one of those players that never stay with one guitar for very long. I guess it all depends on my mood as it may effect what you hear. Right now, Im into my Gibson SG 60s Tribute. The P90 tone is amazing, but in that video, Im partial to the Melody Maker, though it does not have P90s. The Schecter Ultra III has three mini humbuckers and it plays and sounds like a Gibson Firebird.
