He is not past tense yet is he?

Cheers Jason (I should have written something more like "he sure was a great acoustic guitarist with Zeppelin too")

he he

I can already foresee the Gibson lounge negativity if his life was really past tense...

"he was **** anyway and way over rated, I could do better"

"oh well, he dabbled in black magic and had it coming"

"he was **** live"

blah blah blah [flapper]

Luckily he is here still and we can still celebrate him! Seize the day amigos and "never stop fighting till the fight is done" (Kevin Costner's Elliot Ness)

I enjoy his acoustic work much more then his electric work. He really was a great writer.

Randy Rhoads said pretty much the same thing about Jimmy Page as you have. I do love his lead playing at the Live at The BBC sessions. Awesome

Randy was a class act and a smart guy. He really worked to try to understand music on a much deeper level than most. It didn't always translat to his playing but he would have been the first to tell you that.
