Went into my local shop to trade some older equipment in and test drive an ultra III, walked out with a new Epi G-400 Korina !!! lol man I need to just stay off the internet and out of local shops cause I can't nearly work enough hours to keep buying a new guitar or amp every few weeks! Heaven help me if I start looking into Bass and Bass rigs I will be living in an alley running an extension cord to power up all my gear under my tarp! [crying] I will post some pics shortly!

You have a long list of acquisitions. What you need is something to relieve all that GAS. [biggrin]

Thanks again everyone! I set out an acceptable plan with the old lady! lol seeing as how I have an es175 with buckers an sg with buckers and a Lp with p90 I have very eloquently stated that I need to maintain balance so I need a hollow or semi hollow with single coil pups so I at least have to be "allowed" a wildkat or p93 riviera! lol She didn't buy into this logic at first but she slowly came around!! Life is all about balance. You should have enough guitars to equal your current weight.

You'll need that to balance the small watercraft you be in if you're ever "Shipped Out" by your other half! [biggrin]

I'm gonna need a few more guitars to equal my current weight [thumbup] , I like your logic and feel I may do 2 things as a result of reading it...... 1) accept it as my philosophy and 2) get off my diet and star putting weight back on! Man my collection is gonna get huge! [scared] lol

Hahaha.... I've tried this approach - I have an Epi AJ 'coustic, Epi LP (solid w/ buckers) and a BMG (chambered w/single coils) ..... Mrs D wants to know why I "need" a semi-hollow w/singles if I already have a chambered w/singlecoils....actually, a good question from my better half - guess she really does listen when I go on and on endlessly about this stuff. I'd love to get a Wildkat, or a Thinline Tele, but .... tonally, for this non=pro, I have my bases covered decently enough - the BMG is an absolutely amazing all-around go-to guitar [thumbup]

I said, " No dear, the new guitar I'm waiting for is still on it's way, it's a Gibby S.G. highly customized, it's the one I'm

putting the Bigsby on, I mean, you didn't think I was going to put a Bigsby on a new Strat, did you ?? " )

TRUE STORY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [thumbup] [thumbup] [thumbup] ........

My Gas has been so bad in the past 2 1/2 years that I've bought 6 Epis ,a Fender Jimmie Vaughn Strat,4 amps, asst. stompboxes,a 4-12 Marshall cab.I've recently given up the evil tobacco solely to feed my GAS and the first things on my list are a Ricky 325-'63 or a 360/12-'64.Gas can be exciting once you get into it but it can run away with you causing matrimonial strife.Been There.

Poopsicle, I'm patiently waiting for my 2011 Korins G400. Should be here in the next few days. I had a Gibson SG as my second guitar (replacing a Harmony Rocket!) that I bought new in 1969. Sold it several years ago when I went out of country for a while. Missed that guitar over the years and once I saw the Korina, I started jonesing for another. Looks exactly like yours and matches up well with my maple RIC and natural Casino, color-wise, a real family resemblence. What's that they say about a watched pot? Congratulations on yours.
