Searcy
Grabbed this little mother at my local Guitar Center last night. Shweeeeet.
BobB
Congrats, that's a great find. I love the sound of vintage Cry Baby and Vox wah-wah pedals. What did it set you back?
Searcy
It was $70 and for that price I just had to see how it holds up next to a new one.

Morkolo
Great find! It looks like someone else enjoyed it for a long time before it fell into your hands.

Dub-T-123
Lol Sepulveda California? I had no idea. I thought those were British made. How's the bypass signal? It definately doesn't seem to be wired for "true bypass". $70 seems like a really sweet price. The guts look pretty cool.
damian
I didn't know they had Duracell batteries back then !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ....
Searcy
It's 100% original (accept for the battery). It doesn't have true bypass. I wouldn't have bought it if it had been modified. Besides I'm not a fan of true bypass at all. I'll try to do a demo of it later this week. It's Shweeeeeeeeet.
Dub-T-123
I was kidding about the true bypass. I find it hilarious when people ask "is it true bypass" like it's make or break. I wire my own pedals for true bypass though. I was just curious because it looks buffered. Just curious how the bypass sound is as I've heard those can be major "tone sucks". Something about really low input impedence or something?
Californiaman
That's the same pedal I have. Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles, CA. I like mine and it sounds great.
Dub-T-123
Pico and Sepulveda. Pico and Sepulveda. Sepulveda is fun to say but horrible to drive on. They should call it "Potholeveda". At least last time I drove down it it was like the shittiest street I've ever seen. But I love that those were made in LA.

bonzoboy
You got a great deal, they usually go for much more on Ebay.I have a 66/67 Vox Clyde McCoy and a late 60s Cry Baby and I must say that the new pedals just can't hold a candle to them.Even the pot on yours looks original so you really did good.If you ever need a replacement pot built to original specs try here: http://www.northstaraudio.net/ and if you want to email the CEO try here tomlanik@earthlink.net I have ordered pots from them and found them to be the best thing.
