Thats Guitar music.....Guitars sound best when they echo what the streets are saying.

Jackson Browne has always had it.... [thumbup]

Nice, Thats a Roy Snmeck model, isnt it? I saw JB this past May. What a great show. Could do without alot of the politics,(both ways) but JB is a very talented singer/songwriter.

Should have taken the opportunity to tout his own model I would have thought... The amulet system might come in handy among all that ambient background noise. ;)

Yeah JB is great. He's probably done well writing songs about estrangement, loneliness, loss, greed, and hope. Can't figure out why he'd ever be at an Occupy protest. Oh, well...there is this.

You know, humanitarian, human rights, blah blah blah all that stuff. If those people spent half that time looking for a job, or working, they would not have time to camp out and do their protest crap. All a cop out if you ask me. [thumbdn] But hey, they, we got to hear JB playing a great guitar.

I actually heard one lady and her husband say that we(the USA) need to be a socialist, communist country. It would be better for us all. She actually said that in an interview on the street, at that protest. I guess thats why JB was there playing his Roy Smeck model there, in open protest. Peace, Love and soul. Anyway, good sounding guitar.

The great thing is that we live in a free country. You're free to stay absolutely stupid things if you want. Happens every day, on every side of the political spectrum.

Me? I'm just here for the music.

Peace, and love.

Not sure - but I don't believe he's playing a JB sig. Just doesn't look or sound like one. I've had the good fortune to play 3 - 1 at Bailey Bros in Birmingham, AL (one of the best sounding and playing guitars I've ever played) and 1 each at Guitar Centers in ATL and North Charleston, SC. I would have bought each one of them if I had the $$$. Wonderful sounding and playing instruments.

All of the JB sigs I've seen in person and online have a sunburst top and different fretboard inlays than the one he's playing. What little you can see of the sides don't look like walnut. To me - that guitar looks and sounds like some bad *** rosewood.

Any opinions on which model it is or isn't?

I believe it's his ('95, IIRC) Roy Smeck Radio Grande reissue.
