If the Beatles were starting out today with today being as is, then they wouldn't have a chance because of everything that happened as a result of what they were back then. They made it so desirable for people to jump into the music business and try to recreate what they had. Now if they tried today and had never existed (sounds twilight zoney) who knows, it would be a different place.

That would be an intentional mondegreen? I have a few that I would share but would be grounds for censure.😖

Drummer in our band when I was a teen Sang Taking Gerafizzes instead of Taking Care of Business. He honestly thought it was a gastric acid reducer for old people that BTO was singing about. I receive a daily word of the day from some site that I never signed up for but look at just for grins. Today's word was Mondegreen which I'd never heard of and voila. Gotta admit Notes, your golf use was great!

Misinterpreting the words in a song and singing yours. A famous mondegreen is; She belted out a mondegreen when she sang, "Excuse me while I kiss this guy." Embarrassingly I had one for years by AC/DC. "Dirty Deeds at Redondo beach." My sister in law's parent's live there and my brother next door in Manhattan beach. I honestly thought it was that. Combination of attention deficit and volume I suspect. Surely there are mondegreens other folks sang.

I assume you mean an acoustic which I don't have a video of one being played but I have this. The oldest video I have playing a Gibson is from 1979 at a July 4th battle of the bands in Little Rock, Arkansas and it was an electric. I was playing my 75 Flying V on this original song . The other guitar player and lead singer was playing an Explorer. It was 104 degrees with 95% humidity and I had shorts on that had gotten muddy. You'd think I'd soiled myself (almost though with that big crowd 😁) The video has been transferred from different media so it ain't high res.

Wow can't wait to see that. My first experience seeing a black Beauty LP custom being played through a Marshall (not by Billy but by a local guy in a guitar store in 1974) was playing the song Waitin on the Bus. I was speechless it was so damn cool. 1/3 of my first band's repertoire was ZZ.

You never fail to crack me up Big Bill. I went to South Jersey from Philly once about 10 years ago. It was great had a blast and the scenery was really nice (summertime). Didn't get what Archie Bunker meant.

I ordered it in 2019, around the beginning of March. Honestly I don't remember if the volute was optional. I asked for the Modern Axcess as a Gold Top and asked for the 60's thin tapered profile neck. They said they could do it and I don't remember if that was optional or not. Honestly it is hard for me to get through a work day lately. Like Todd Rundgren I don't want to work, I just want to play on Les Paul all day.

Wow, Stunning is right

Thanks guys! Things are improving at such a rapid rate, guitar, refrigerator, running water, all within the last week! Here's another photo of it hanging on the wall (although I apparently am not able to save it as rotated correctly). It really is perfect. I chose chrome over nickel perhaps to give it a 70's vibe and the shiny chrome is so killer I think so I am a very happy camper (albeit I am no longer, camping more like glamping lately).😄

I’d love one with a guitar on it but the only reason I use a phone case is for the wallet function with driver’s license and credit card slots.

Favorite, as of 2 days ago is my Custom LP Gold Top Modern Axcess! 😃 One that got away (completely unintentional loss by being at the wrong place at the wrong time) was my 2011 American Standard White Stratocaster. 😢

Speaking of, I won this at an auction, very appropriate for what you are proposing.
