Last night I was getting ready for bed; picked up my phone for a quick look at Reverb; and before you know it had bought an amp head. I woke up this morning thinking about how many amps I now have. This will bring the total to 9. Three combos and six heads. And I started thinking about how many amps others might have, compared to the amount of electric guitars they own. I have 14 electric and 1 acoustic/electric for a total of 15 guitars. So I have 15/9 ratio of guitars to amps, which is close to a 3/2. I think I always have assumed most players had more guitars than amps. But then I started thinking there might be a lot of folks who have 2 or 3 guitars and 5 or 6 amps. So of course I knew how to find an answer to my question...post a topic in the lounge. What is your guitar/amp ratio?

That left me scratching my head. That was about the most boring drum solo I ever heard/saw.

That's one of their better albums in my opinion. I have most of their stuff on vinyl. I used to have Hurry Sundown on 8 track.

Awesome! I currently live in California but did much of my growing up in Georgia. I may just end up moving back there upon retirement. So you could just bolt down I 75 from Jersey and pick me me up on the way to Florida. 😄

Do you have a drummer for the band yet? If not I'd be happy to be in your tribute band as, at least, one of the drummers. I can be Monte. 😃

Yes I've seen those vids. I was just thinking it would be nice to see him play a whole AC/DC concert dressed like the other members. But you know, after playing that way virtually his whole life, maybe he might feel uncomfortably weird playing in jeans and a T-shirt!

Is it just me, or is Angus looking kinda ridiculous wearing the schoolboy uniform nowadays? He used to look cool. Now... not so much. I think he ought to just start wearing jeans and Tshirts like everybody else in the band. He deserves it. And I'd like to see him play that way. Just once with his big boy pants on! 😃

I just want to thank all the Military Veteran's for their service to our Country. Today is a National Holiday here in the U.S. My Father retired from the Air Force a Lt. Colonel after serving 28 years. One tour of Vietnam. He was a Navigator, the last of his kind. (they phased out navigators). I comend those who feel the call to duty. I am so honored to have men and women who defend our great nation, and have for so long. Not only was my life wonderful as a kid; I got to live in some really cool places. But today I have the day off from work. So I thought, why not spend a few mintues on my day off and start a thread on this Veteran's Day. And say, "Thank You Military Veteran's for all you do!" God bless you!

You mean the first verse? Bet you don't know the whole song. I've watched enough sports that I know the whole verse too. Probably a lot of Canadians that know the first verse of tha Star Spangled Banner as well.
