I lived downtown Sacramento for about 26 years. I recently moved to the S. Land Park/Greenhaven area. Much nicer. I've also lived in Rancho Cordova and Folsom. Ive heard that cafe advertised on the radio, but never been there.

Hoping for the best for you tman. I'm up here in Sacramento. It's been lots of bad air, but I haven't had any flames close to me at all. I hope California can think of some ways to prevent so much wildfire from devestating so many lives. You'd think by now they would have?

The fact that those guys have sounded pretty much like themselves for 45 years is amazing in itself. They found a formula that worked, and they rarely strayed from it. And I'm so glad for that. Their music will be around for a long, long time. I kinda' like that new song. It's difficult not to like some new AC/DC. Especially when they are sounding like themselves.

When I first heard Running With the Devil I could not believe what I was hearing. "This", I thought, "is what rock is supposed to sound like". EVH was one of the best to ever play. I saw Van Halen on Halloween night 1980, in Macon, Georgia. One of the best concerts I've ever seen. They were all wearing costumes. And Eddie was fantastic. And he made it seem so easy. And like he was having the best time ever. RIP Ed

Nope. Ramones albums do not sound all the same. The first album is quite different from the rest. So are Pleasant Dreams and End of the Century. Pinch knows what I'm talking about. And BTW Pinch, except for their debut,. I agree with you about the overproduced albums. Pleasant Dreams is one of my favorites.
