Sounds like you have what I have; Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). I've had it for 10 years or so. It is often hereditary. My Mom had it. My brother had it. Dad did not. I've had it the worse in the family. Sometimes I have to lay down because there is simply nothing else I can do. I know how you feel. The first time I got it I was at a concert. And I got really scared because I didn't understand what was happening to me. My Mom had never spoken about all the times she had delt with it, while my brother and I were at school as kids. The excercises do nothing for me, but make me feel worse. They help my brother. Any way, hope your doing better.

Well, I recently purchased the Mini Rectifier. And I can say it is the best amp I have ever owned. I am enjoying playing through it so much. However, now that it's Gibson branded, they will probably go up higher in price than they already are. So I have mixed feelings.

Everybody hears things differently. So what might sound good to someone else...may not sound the same to you. I know you know this. But you need to keep that in mind. I had an SG with 61s. I did not like them. I then put some BB pros in that I had taken out of another guitar. Did not like them. Then I bought a pair of Gibson 490r/498t pickups. I like them. A lot. I like 57 classics. Have them in an LP. But I like the the 490r/498t more. It does somewhat depend on what style of music I am playing at the moment.

This whole time I have not heard you once mention how each of these guitars sound. Ok, so the last on they sent you meets your visual approval. But it might sound the worst of all three of the guitars. That first one with the markings might have sounded the best. It's a musical intrument. Not artwork. The most imprortant thing should be how it sounds. Yes, I understand you pay a lot of money, and want it to look good, but don't you want it to sound good! Shouldn't that be the main thing you are looking for in a guitar???????????????????? And yet the only thing you seem to be concerned with is cosmetics. Just makes me shake my head...

I have never thought of my life as something that is dictated by a calendar. Tomorrow may be the start of 2021, but to me that means nothing. As a teacher, I measure my time by "school years". August starts the year, and May/June ends it for me. Then I have the Summer off. I've never made a resolution in my life. I have goals through out my life and usually reach them if seriously trying. I do hope this next calandar year is better for everyone. But I learned a lot about myself this past calandar year. The pandemic has made me do a lot of thinking about stuff I never would have thought about if not for it. Yes I wish it hadn't happened. But I have seen some postive aspects of it in my life.

Sorry I don’t know anything about measuring pickup height. Someone will though. I measure with my ears. I listen to how it sounds at various heights and adjust accordingly. Seems to work for me. 😄

I’ve had chronic insomnia since I was 16. Even as a small child I never slept much. I have not slept more than 5 hours in one night in over 20 years. But caffeine? No affect on me at all. I drink coffee until right before bedtime. Caffeine acts more like a depressant than a stimulant to me. When I cut back on caffeine it doesn’t help me at all. I’ve tried it. I’ve just become accustomed to the fact that I only need 4 hours of sleep a night. I try to get more. But I can’t.

Then quit buying them.

No it speaks volumes about human beings. Nobody is perfect. But there will always be humans who think they should be.

To me the blame goes to whoever put that in the mail and sent it to you. They should have looked it over before shipping it. They should have seen that obvious flaw and picked another one out to send you; whether that was Sweetwater, Guitar Center or Gibson.

Seems to me you should be asking that question and sending the pics to the seller.

Wrong. My 2014 SGJ has Kluson Deluxe tuners. Says so right on the tuners. I bought it new from Sweetwater. I’ve seen others as well. And btw , mine work just well as the “Gibson Deluxe” tuners on my LP. In fact they look and operate exactly alike.
