I have 2 sets of masterbuilts left when I strolled into the local store and found 4 packs of them on display a few months ago. I quickly hoped on the forum and announced the find as they have been disco'd for a while now Murph thinks they'll be corroded he could be right I've not opened em as yet. The Gibson coated strings are ok. They are not as good, or do they last like D'Addario XTs do The one thing I noticed when I tried the Gibson coated strings, they went from "ok" to "stone cold dead" like overnight. Got about 4 months out of them so not complaining, but compared to XTs for example, . I can usually get about 5 months out of them and they still sound and feel pretty good. w/XTS, I often change em b/c I get the urge on Saturday mornings sometimes not because they are dead.

Tone Masters sound impressive, they are very light weight, and the power attenuator feature is excellent. Mine sounds really (REALLY) Close to my sons 65RI when we put them side by side. and If I had the Tube combo, I'd not replace it with this. but this one does a good job "faking" it.

nope. not this time, and from looking at past assault cases not likely even after when a few times he does the same thing. He won't spend one second there and the worst of it, he knows he won't. The dance is Arrested, Post Bail, and Go Free. Any judge will toss it aside as a nuisance case, until of course he winds up killing someone's grandfather.

All my guitars have nickel frets. Even the newest acoustics (from 2020/2016) have visible fret wear Not effecting anything but the frets are showing use. Stainless Steel frets will last WAY Longer than nickel Are they any brighter? I dunno, my kid has a few tele's his Lux has SS frets. Same pickups, I'm not sure the difference is that noticable if at all the only negative about SS frets is if they get damaged, (like a ding or dent in them) they have to be replaced, they can't be reshaped to

that's a first! if that really is under the clear coat, and I've no reason to doubt it is, that's a pretty glaring example of a swing and a miss with QC.
