  3. I have 2 built by the old guys before the sold out. A H535 limited in trans black ( 335 but with Duncan 59/ Seth Lovers and a side mount jack) and a H575 Custom in natural all flame maple ( a hand carved ES-175 ) as well as thier Gibson counterparts. I love them and the artists I build for universally love the H575C the best of all my instruments.
  4. thanks , it plays great despite the chunky neck ...
  5. Congrats! Grissom's are way cool , the carve is unique . David is an awesome player .. now complete the set woth a DG30 amp/cab they are sublime !
  6. I haven't either .. Thank you ,I will .. and my grandsons as well
  7. I was overjoyed to lasso this beauty this morning , I'd seen it before but missed the bid. I came back up and I'm very pleased , gorgeous flame Maple neck too! a perfect compliment to very first electric a natural Birdseye '79 Les Paul Custom I bought new with money received as a wedding present from work .. I still have it.
  8. I just picked up a used Fender Acoustic 100 for a spare to help out at the Cafe' I run sound for . 2 seperate channels , simple controls , built in effects for each channel and XLR DI outs . Warm and easy , perfect for Open Mic duty . Even new these are a great bang for the buck . Played my electric fiddle through and it's delicious.
  9. Enjoy , they are iconic for a reason . I've been playing my American Standard for 35 years and still love it , although I did switch out the pickups for some Custom Fralin's .
  10. I like AI for art , but I'm very old school for music . Give me Vinyl, Give me Tubes, Analog 4ever!
  11. I have an original Boogie and a 800W Mesa Bass amp with thier 2x15 cab .. so yeah I'm a fan big time. I also love my PRS DG 30 ( hand wired 30w EL84 2 x12) for both acoustic and electric work.
  12. I run a Mesa Rosette (2 ch, 300w , DI outs) and use for the acoustic artists in the Cafe' I work at. Bullet proof , versatile , crystal clear . Mic input , I've even run my bass through it . Amazing amp
  13. The more I play this , the more I like it . This is one of the most amp dependent guitars I own, on my Mesa Rosette acoustic amp it can be gorgeous and lush , plug it into the plexi and it's a rock monster . While I have guitars , including Gibsons that cost 3 times as much , none is more fun to play
  14. Growing up with the Warlocks in Palo Alto , going to Brown's Music seeing Jerry and Bobby working there .. Magical days .. RIP Capt. Trips
  15. Yes sir ,,,, it looks better in person , irridescent in the lights
  16. She arrived this morning , quite stunning , the top is 3/4" at thickest , it certainly adds BITE. An excellent value .. updated pic
  17. my 31 yr old daughter got me thier cd for my birthday .. talented ... not completely my favorite but interesting
  18. I've picked up 8 guitars and 2 amps from Reverb and never had any problems so far ...waiting on my new SG Modern Blueberry to arrive via them now.
  19. I have 10 , from Gibson , Heritage, Jaros, Gretsch, and PRS
  20. I had my 50th high school renunion this year .. that confirms fossil status..
