To satisfy my quest for the Pre CBS Jags & JM’s of my youth I played the AV65’s… They were so Vintage correct I bought both of them… Olympic White AV65 Jazzmaster & Candy Apple Red AV 65 Jaguar… Both are expertly Set up, including the proper Set up for Locking Tremelos & both are now sporting Mustang Bridges… As close as you can get to Vintage but with Lifetime Warranties… The Twang, Reverb & Tremelo Sound is so cool thru a Fender Twin, Deluxe Reverb & Princeton Reverb!

Reminds me of the part in the Eagles documentary where they talk about the “Circle Of Fear”….. My Brother & I have been singing together for 50 years… We started as an Acoustic Duo way back when… We’ve done tons of stuff since & been in several Electric Bands since then.. But, to get real, we always go back to the 2 of us on Acoustics singing Harmony unplugged…. That’s the best..

Does it have the USA Gibson/Epiphone Lifetime Warranty? I’ve been thinking of an MIJ Epiphone Rivoli Bass. Their Ltd Production Reissue Series ended a few years ago.. I missed them but would love to get a new one…..

I see a lot of Epiphones on EBay that are advertised as made in Japan.. But nothing about them on Epiphone website.. How do you know they are factory authorized Epiphones? I’ve been tempted a few times…

I guess the question the OP has to ask himself is, How much is his $5500.00 Damaged Guitar worth? Is it worth spending a few Hundred Bucks if need be? If it isnt' worth it to do what it takes to resolve the Issue then it's Case closed... Still, you may be a Barrister & may be correct as to the technical aspects.. Sometimes it takes thinking outside the Box to achieve the outcome you desire... Me. I do..... I've had to do it with Cars, Guitars, Amps & other things.. I'll go all the way up to the CEO of the Freakin Corp. if I have to... I've made purchases in the UK that needed resolution.. And I did contact the Retailer & they were courteous & resolved the issue with excellent Customer Service.. Gibson is a World Co. If it were me after a hassle with the Retailer I'd go directly to Gibson Customer Service... I don't care if I lived Ethiopia! I'll go all the way to the CEO if I have to...

Yet the Retailer seems to be in disagreement. If what you say is true a simple letter to the Retailer from an Attorney, on their Letterhead, stating the Retailer is in violation of xxxxx Laws.. We demand repair, replacement or refund or we’ll Sue you in Court…. If what you say is true I can’t see a Retailer wanting to go to Court & losing….
