  1. Do you use them together, I like the sound from multiple amps...
  2. Played my Blueshawk off and on through my new tube amp all day.. Life is good............
  3. I found that my non-tremolo guitars started collecting dust and were not getting played. The secret to non locking tremolos is they have to be exercised to keep the nut from binding..
  4. I am a tremolo addict, I can't stop touching it.. my tremolo collection....
  5. No tree's and staggered machines will help your tremolo return to zero better.. If you use it...
  6. Very cool Blooz, I noticed your Strat has neck binding and no string trees, nice touch...
  7. I use a Vox Wah pedal and a Richie Kotzen RK5 that has 2 OD's and 1 Boost. Since the RK5 can be used as a Pre-Amp, it is easy to over boost any amps Pre-Amp. So with the RK5 I have each OD set individually to the same level as clean. So I don't get a volume increase until I use any combination of 2, but when all 3 are on it just screams. Yesterday we played we played without percussion so we were a little quieter than normal with a few guitarists, I had the SR15 eventually set to gain on 3 and volume on 4 but went to 8 for a while. So any where between 4 and 8 would be sufficient for a bar or small cub. Anyway I had a great time the amp sounds really good the tone changes a bit the more you push it, just like a real tube amp... All good... I am thinking of getting a second one.. 🙂
  8. Looks like its wired for EU 220/230..... which the Stage Right 15 is only available for US power.. Harley Benton Tube 15 at Thomann...
  9. I played at an outdoor jam this afternoon, the SR15 sounded really good, got it to about 1/2 volume ( 3 & 8 ) for while, it really screams without breaking up and my RK5 works really well with it. No line noise until a tiny bit with 2 OD's and then a little more with 3 OD's..
  10. Surprise...... The Harley Benton Tube 15 is a rebranded version of the Monoprice Stage Right 15.. I like the way the Harley Benton brand looks on the grill, Stage Right should put the SR brand own theirs...
  11. Hmmmm. sounds like the leading cause of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.....
  12. Those were great amps and simple. There is a Mojotone GA-5 style kit available. But I'm sure nothing has the class of the original. I was looking at Mojotone for a tube chassis that could replace my Deluxe 900 chassis when I saw the GA-5 kit.
  13. I usually replace my chrome parts with nickel, because of the high humidity of my island environment, nickel survives longer. So its not unusual for me to have chrome threaded inserts with a nickel bridge, note that bridges normally come with threaded adjustment posts of the same finish..
  14. All very true, after doing research on the net and trying used and new tube amps, I was leaning towards a Blues Jr. But found used Jr's were starting to make "snap crackle and pop" noises, leading me to focus on a new one or newer. While searching reviews the MP Stage Right 15w kept popping up, anyway a new 15w tube amp delivered for $249 seemed to be worth the risk. As it turned out, it was and being a P90 player the very low line noise is impressive.. One of most recommended non tube amps is the Roland Blues Cube Hot 30w. The only thing that could be taken as a criticism is that they are loud.
  15. Still waiting on the 2020 Casino's, one thing for sure they will most likely cost more than the last production Elitist.
  16. I am impressed by the sound it can give from low to high volume. I have the opportunity really push it in the open air this weekend.. 😬
  17. Good, I was hoping I wasn't imagining the loss of noise.. Specs.... Model 611815 Driver 12" Celestion® Seventy 80 Rated Power 15 watts Frequency Response 80Hz ~ 10kHz Total Harmonic Distortion 0.5% (clean mode) Hum and Noise -75dB below rated power Input Impedance 1 megohm Power Consumption 50 watts maximum Amplifier Load Range 8 ~ 16 ohms Preamplifier Section 3x ECC83/12AX7 preamp tubes Power Amplifier Section 2x EL84 power tubes Dimensions 16.8" x 17.1" x 9.25" (427 x 435 x 235 mm) Weight 25.4 lbs. (11.5kg) Noise update; I did manage to get some by adding a bit of OD+Boost, while using P90's. Most effected was my Junior DC with an actual 59 LP P90. The least effected was my SG with GFS Mean 90's, maybe because of the silver plated coil chassis?

  19. It has been said that at times, like one being during the lawsuit era, the Japan builders exceeded the quality level of the US Gibsons.
