My son has a similar issue with finger snot. Wash your hands prior to playing, keep a cotton cloth handy and do a quick wipe down of your strings after every other song or two. Takes a couple of seconds

I enjoyed a lot of those movies, really didn't "scare" me, I just dug the vibe they put out. The movie that came the closest scaring me is the original Night of the Living Dead. I starting watching it and it caught me off guard. As far as newer movies, Rob Zombie has a couple of good ones. After watching "House of 1000 Corpses" , when it was over I felt violated and had to take a shower.

I thank you all for voicing what I didn't have the balls to post. Sending back a guitar for something that insignificant is silly. 0000 steel wool and a dab of lemon oil should do the trick. The hardest and most expensive part is removing and replacing the strings.
