studio Yellow Inlays or Inlays That Have Yellowed?
Big Bill replied to Johnny Erik's topic in Gibson USA
At least they're not snot green like the Les Paul Classics of that era! -
Just another thing to inflate Lar's ego! Other than that, it pretty cool!

Pros and cons of Rosewood/Ebony fretboards vs. finished maple?
Big Bill replied to Sheepdog1969's topic in The Gibson Lounge
It all boils down to personal preference. I prefer a nice and glossy maple finger board. But not on a Gibson, it would be like teets on a bull. -
Jack the Ripper even make an appearance!

It gives me the runs...

Stains on back of Les Paul from cleaning cloth
Big Bill replied to Slade Mikel's topic in The Gibson Lounge
If all else fails, I suggest giving this and a tiny bit of elbow grease a try. I've have good luck with it in the past. -
If I remember right, they were priced pretty reasonably. I should have picked one up for myself...

Was the grain as lumpy as is looked? I always thought those finishes look like alligator skin.

Why does it appear that these are two Gibson employees having a chat to promote the app?

Does this include a wireless phone? If so, I will add the flush of the toilet.

This has to be the first and only time that a Murphy's Lab product melted my butter. If I had the cash, I would look into getting one of these.

Maybe it's an Air Force thing, but most of us Vets do not boast about our rank and pay. We're a bit more humble than that. I will not debate otherwise.

Sir, you have won post of the year! I laugh so hard I farted.

That happened with me once. The mayhem moved into where we were playing. We stopped playing and started breaking everything down as fast as we could. We got paid an extra $500... I learned that night why some bands played behind chicken wire.

I mistrusted a fart once.

Yeah, this whole thing smells to me. Send it back and get a refund. I certainly wouldn't blame Gibson for this one.

I don't think it's a classic due to the serial number difference. The Classic has 6 digits while the guitar in question has 9. Also there isn't that annoying snot green inlays...

I purchased a Les Paul Traditional the first year they came out, which was 2008. Since your Lester is a 2007, its safe to say that it is a Standard.

Check Out My 1948/49 Gibson BR-6 Amplifier
Big Bill replied to badbluesplayer's topic in The Gibson Lounge
I love where Gibson put the volume knob! I would love to get ahold of a functional vintage tube amp like that. I know there are plenty out there to be had, its the cost that keeps me from getting one. -
I slept with Madonna and have the cold sore to prove it.

Nice Les Paul, I love the top, very sweet. Looks legit to me. It does appears that the electronics have been replaced and copper shielding added to the cavity. It's not uncommon for people to swap out the PCB board. Oh, your wife has nice legs.
