ParlourMan
I have a theory that this guitar was made the day Gibson got shut down by the dibble and Van (the man) never got the chance to finish the job. It's a crazy lookin' beast.

E-minor7
In this situation I'm real certain the case interior should have been green - The guit. - don't know, , , it's one of those that would rubber-neck me constantly if I was invited to a dinner in the house where it hang on the wall. Rubber-neck, , , an expression I recently learned from J- Mitchell.
BluesKing777
I put a link in another thread to this L-00 Legend that has a similar arrangement - the front is Black and the B&S are dark stained mahogany: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gibson-Legend-Series-L-00-Custom-Shop-Black-Top-1937-New-Vintage-USA-Made-Mint-/300981592139?pt=Guitar&hash=item4613e6a04b Maybe these are coming out of the 'weirdos and leftovers department' we hear about? michaeljohnr
Too much contrast. It makes the top look like someone left a playing card on top of the guitar.
MR GIBS
The contrast is a little too much for me... I saw the other instruments of this e-bay dealer. Good stuff. GAS-ing for his Firebird...
Aster1
That color scheme just ain't my cup of tea, bottle of beer, or even my glass of water. I no lika at all and I'd be looking down and seeing the creme color of the guitar while playing so I'm out. Don't think I'd own it for the price I paid on my cheap Epi 200ce!!
