Searcy Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 I've been working on my photography skills of and on for a few months now. While I'm still not very good I do get lucky at times and catch a good shot. Other times I tweak the file on the computer and end up with something interest if not accurate. Here are a few of the shots I like.
brc Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 The Log Those look pretty good to me Searcy. Where were they taken at. Also not to change the subject, whats the latest on thr puppies, and how is the female doing with her treatment. You may have posted this on another thread, but I have been on and off the computer for the last week.Still dealing with a computer problem.
Searcy Posted October 20, 2014 Author Posted October 20, 2014 Those were all taken not far from my house in a little park. The park is not formally dedicated to Les Paul but the art sure suggests that. Here is my beloved Dano Baritone.
rct Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Your photography skills are top notch! Any guitar, of any kind, from anywhere, that is introduced as "beloved" is a great guitar. rct
ErickC Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Here is my go to guitar. "SpiderBaby" Dougal, are you absolutely sure about this? You're not confusing it with a dream you had, or anything?
surfpup Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 I think I was pretty clever with these - propping the guitars up with a stick so they looked like they were growing out of the stump...
rct Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 When I put mine on a stump, I always put down a soft t-shirt or towel first. rct

kidblast Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 ^-- very nice, I'm a big fan of B&W / people photos
flyingarmadillo Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 A girl and a Martin. What else does a man need. Beer!
Retired Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 I love the black and white photo a lot. The white brick is a great background and the black and white stripes on her dress add great interest to the photo. Then you take in everything else. You have everything centered great. Just speaking from an artists view my whole life. Nice job Searcy!

Just speaking from an artists view my whole life. Nice job Searcy! Thanks a lot. I'm still learning the new camera. It has a lot of features that the old one didn't have and they are making me work. Here's a shot today. This is don't with my 18-200 MM zoom. It's my favorite lens. The photos arn't as artistic as with my 35mm but the versatility make up for that. SGs by Clint Searcy, on Flickr
