Holy Crap grampa! You really are an old school socialist revolutionary..Big fan of the Weather Underground too? MLK did not support the Black Panthers by the way. Anybody who's curious should take a look at this info on the Black Panthers...http://www.ucc.ie/acad/socstud/tmp_store/mia_2/Library/history/usa/workers/black-panthers/1966/10/15.htm

That's some scary sh1t grampa!

Good job Spoonz! What Bullsh1t! Did you get this stuff from your union boss' date=' or from the democat's website? You are [u']factually incorrect [/u]in your statements. I guess you don't remember Vietnam or 1968, the riots, the beatings and murders during the civil rights struggle, the Jimmy Carter years, the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in 1993. I guess that you don't know that the US stock market lost more value during the crash of 1987, or that during the past 8 years over 17 million people bought homes and that as of today, less than 2 million homes are in foreclosure. I have heard you talk about Bush taking away constitutional rights and freedoms. Do you have any facts to back that up? Or is that just more bullsh1t, if you have some secret facts that only you and your fellow dems know about, then please back up that statement, if not, then quit spreading the lie. The labor movement has been shrinking over the past 30 years, it has been under assault by the corruption and graft within your brotherhood. The labor movement has failed because of it's own policies and stupidity. Unlike you and Michelle Obama, many of us have always been proud to be Americans. Today we take a HUGE step towards SOCIALISM and I'm scared about it. I hope and pray that President Obama doesn't fail completely, because this is my country too, but I hope and pray that Pelowsi, Reid, Kennedy and Obama are not successful in undoing 230 years of Capitalism, freedom, and democracy that so many other American's died defending. Put down the manifesto and pick up some history books!

I actually wrote that yesterday. I didn't get it anywhere, but between my ears. I'm sorry you think it was boring. I thought it show quite a lot of restraint considering what I could have said about your lord and savior GW Bush.

Sorry to scare you. I know of the differences between many of the civil rights activists. It wasn't unusual. A lot of bleep went down from the late 50's into the mid 70's that may have scared a lot of people. Fear arises from ignorance. The changes that happened in that time were strange and scary for a lot of people who had been living the complacent 50's lifestyle. The head-on collision was inevetable and explosive.

I survived it and am stronger and wiser. And I hope to get even wiser and stronger.

Spoonz, I didn't think it was boring, I thought it was full of false statements. Instead of just celebrating the beauty of what happened today, you spilled a hate filled diatribe full of partisan bullsh!t. Think about it...

you know... it was in no way written as a lightening rod. It was purposefully vague. I was simply trying to express my feeling on this great day. In fact the statements were so vague I know damn well there is nothing their I couldn't find some evidence for. I chose not to foot note the damn statement. If every time I make a post I am expected to list my creds then I will expect you to do the same.

I'd be glad to backup my statements with evidence. Your statements weren't that vague, I still haven't read any facts to back up your statements about how we lost rights under President Bush, You've written it several times, but never a single fact to back it up. And your statements about this being the worst time in America since the great depression(parahrasing on my part) are just FACTUALLY incorrect in every way. Your statements about attacks on the middle class and the labor movement are also FACTUALLY incorrect. If you want to be a bomb thrower, then more power to you. If you want to have an intelligent conversation, then you need to be more factual. Your a smart guy, you can do better.

I am proud and excited to be an American for a change. And it's a good change.I come from the other side than the idiot Nugent and that poser who is even more idiotic. I sat around kitchens talking with Black Panthers in the mid 60's discussing how to feed poor black kids and get them in schools and get their parents jobs and help get healthcare and everyone would say that one day a Black man would be president although we all understood the odds. It's a wonderful day indeed.

This is a nice birthday prersent for Dr. King.

FIRST, I never claimed to be Mr. Nugent, so you're an idiot and a moron for thinking I was, it just proves you'll drink any kool-aid. I personally like Mr. Nugent's ideas and I really don't give a $hit what you think of me or my ideas. Grampa - guess what? WE ALL HAVE A STORY!!!!! So I dobn't give a $hit about any table you sat around. I didn't vote for Obama, in fact I have NEVER voted for a Dem and I never will. I don't like what obama stands for, I don't like any of his ideas or ideals. He has absolutely no experience in leadership of any form. And it's going to show, just look what he did for Chicago-NOTHING. Anyone that calls Rev Wright his mentor is a complete a varified MORON. And then obama has the nerve to think that I am supposed to listen to him when he backs his way out of that "recorded" statement. Once again, Grampa, when it comes time to "spread the wealth", Obamas recorded words and ideas, not mine. SEND ME SOME OF YOUR MONEY!!!

grampa, I think that fear also rises from having armed militants (the Black Panthers, the Weather Underground, etc.) trying to overthrow the lawfully elected government while advocating that WHITEY must pay. I'm not ignorant as to what went down, I'd be glad to debate it with you anytime, anywhere. As I said before, if you want to live in a socialist country where all of your needs are met by the nanny government, then please move somewhere else. Too many people have died defending the US Constitution and our way of life. Anyone that sits with terrorists and condones thier actions doesn't deserve praise, they deserve public derision.

I am proud to be an American everyday. I have served for this country and lived overseas, and

everytime I see Bobby Rush (Local Poitician/Black Panther/Asshole) I wanna puke.

Idiot Ted, maybe. but he's got that Janet Reno pegged, along with the whole Clinton staff

and by the way I thought Obama's speach was very ordinary, and NO I did not vote for him

All right smart ***. Have you herd of the Patriot Act? What about the wire taping. Ya think thats a good plan?

Worst economy since the great depression. You think that's incorrect? I hope you stay isolated from the throngs who don't have jobs. I hope you and your family never need to worry about such things. Don't worry when the time comes they run out of bread we'll just have them eat cake on your behalf.

You know damn well we could go on for pages and pages on the atrocities of the Bushes. As I said it wasn't ment as a lightening rod statement. You can't possible have your head up Rush Limpbutts *** so far that you don't know what I'm talking about.

BTW....if nothing is done about the former president by Obama then a few weeks/months from now I will be saying unfavorable things about him too.

I agree with the other guy. I support MY country and MY president no matter WHO the president is. I think Obama will do great. I think the last 8 years' president made some dumb decisions' date=' but I also believe he made some very good, though unpopular ones. I supported him just like I'll support this one. And do I care what other people/countries think of me? No, not as long as my/OUR decisions are being made the best we know how at the moment.

The last 8 years' president was handed a BIG plate too, a few months into his Presidency remember. A plate with a flavor that no other President has EVER had.

Go-bama. You can do it. =P~[/quote']

So your plan is to give up civil liberties for security. Hmmm, there's a quote there somewhere. You should probably think about that. IMHO.

Spoonze, your incorrect AGAIN, The Patriot Act was written by Congress, not Bush, and so far it's been upheld by the Supreme Court. Wiretapping is not a concern unless you are calling the middle east or some other terrorist region, all other wiretaps require a court order. You should try FACTS not opinions. Yes there are unemployed people, as there always have been, The unemployment rate is still lower than it was under Jimmy Carter. Learn to use facts when you argue, not name calling and crazy opinion and you'll go much further.
