I played it last week, but got distracted and bought a guitar instead. I came to my senses, returned the Strat that I was ranting about in the other thread, and brought my Mesa Lone Star Special home. This thing is a blues rock beast! Its 30 watts, but DAMN its loud! Murph Posted March 9, 2016 Share Posted March 9, 2016 Congrats. The best amp I've ever owned has been my Blue Angel. It has a few tricks, it'll do 2;6V6's for 15 watts class A, or 4:EL84's for 30 watts, or combine all 6 power tubes for around 38 so they say. Stuck in an old British Mullard rectifier tube and a Vintage 30 and have never looked back. I'm not gigging electric lately, have gone acoustic, but that rig would cover ALL the bases and although I lost my mind for a few minutes, I'll never let it go. Congrats again and best of luck.
