Plus Top Dan
I've been lusting over a Cherry Red 335 for a number of years now and decided to take the plunge and buy one at long last. I knew that I wanted a figured top rather than the plain top version and managed this beauty down. I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story....... I'd like to find some time to take better photos which really show off the flamed figuring within the wood which runs across the top, back and event the sides. It's a stunning guitar to look at let alone play. I'm really pleased with my purchase and my decision to go the extra mile and get the figured top. and I hope you enjoy the photos. :D B)
tx-ogre
Nice choice. I have a flame top 335 in Antique Natural. Great guitar.
Brian Cecil
When I bought a 335, I bought a figured top. I'd played a variety of 335s over many years, but the best player also turned out to be the most beautiful. That's an unbeatable combination. Plus Top Dan
Thanks for the complimentary responses. I'm really chuffed with it and enjoying that new honeymoon period of creativity that seemingly only comes fleetingly with a new guitar purchase

chas1133
My guitar mechanic has a customers for sale...he's asking 3k and it's like new. I played it when I played the '46 LG-2. I thought it was too much personally but I'm sure somebody would pay it

Plus Top Dan
Thanks for the responses. I can't get enough of this guitar. Both pickups sound great across the board and it really is a versatile thing. Since I've had it I haven't played my Les Paul at all and played my Strat only fleetingly. I took the 335 out to a gig on Friday and it nailed what I asked of it! In the right lighting the flamed top really pops out as well.
