jaxson50
I had never heard of Furch guitars until today, but I'm impressed
Sgt. Pepper
I've only seen one. It was in the locked sanctum behind glass in a GC. I wasn't in the mood to get the helpful staff to unlock it. Edited August 27, 2020 by Sgt. Pepper

fortyearspickn
Wow. Sound great, look great, prices are reasonable. Of course, Johnson plays so well - he probably can make that cigar box guitar behind him sound better than a Stratavarius.
kidblast
This guy is such a great player, I really like the way he did this too. Those guitars look pretty awesome. They get nothing but high praise on the AGF.

I looked on line and the low end violet ones are a little over 1k and the high end red is a little over 4k all all price points in between. They started in Czechoslovakia which is now the Czech Republic.
fortyearspickn
Yep. From the video - Mr.Furch senior was a criminal: Risking prison or worse by making and selling stuff without state sanction. Danm Capitalist !
Twang Gang
Never seen anything like the little OM that came in a backpack. Detached headstock with the strings wound on it, neck inside the body slides out and gets clipped to the body. So much for long tenon, hide glue and all that stuff. Crazy.

jaxson50
These are very innovative ideas, and not just marketing gimmicks, good to see creativity is still alive

Now - if they made something like that out of carbon fibre - I think they would discover a whole new market. I wish I knew a big time guitar maker looking to create 'the next big one'.
