Edible bands?

Speaking of band names, there were a few in the day that sounded edible.  Off the top I can think of....

ULTIMATE SPINACH

THE PEANUT BUTTER CONSPIRACY

VANILLA FUDGE

THE CHOCOLATE WATCH BAND

SANDWICH

HOT TUNA

So.....  who did I miss?  😉

Thanks.  Hearing Strawberry Alarm Clock on Music Choice the other night was the catalyst for this thread.  Figures I'd forget it when the time came to make the thread. 🙄

Not familiar with Peppermint Rainbow however.  And I'm not sure the "jam" in Pearl Jam had anything to do with the fruit spread.

And wouldn't that be "Green Apple Quick step"?  which of course I wouldn't consider to be edible.  😉

Uh,  that's KRACKER.  And I doubt Eminem really had the sugar coated candy in mind when coming up with his homophonic stage name.  [wink]

These would rank as edible band names in some parts of the world:

Cat Stevens

The Stone Poneys

The Monkees

Three Dog Night

Buddy Holly and the Crickets

The Turtles

Don't forget the biscuits.....

King Biscuit Boy

Half Man Half Biscuit

There was a backing group called the Blackberries I'm sure.

The Jam, Marmalade, Hot Chocolate, Orange Juice and Grapefruit were all UK bands.

Blodwyn Pig,  Wild Turkey.

Bees Make Honey.  Bacon Fat.

Samantha Fish, Walter Trout and (the late) Jeffery Carp - all blues players.

Think there was a band called Steelhead...?  Brandywine?

You can't eat Sharks or (Aynsley Dunbar's) Blue Whale!

...Or Prefab Sprout.

Vanilla Ice.   Definitely NOT a musical band!!!!

But let's hear it for the great Milton Banana!!  Drummer on "The Girl From Ipanema".
