Factor in paying for expert luthiary and you wouldn't get much change short of $8000 I'd guess, if you were lucky. Have alook at Martyn Booth's site www.martynboothguitars.co.uk/ and you'll see what sort of prices to pay for guitars that are similar in construction to Lesters. I don't think Gibson make one-off custom guitars. I think you have to order a run of 50 for them to consider making a model to your specs. It would be the coolest looking LP ever! I guess I'll have to save up some cash to have a luthier build a replica LP... as soon as my guitar playing ability deserves a $10000 guitar.
